Contents:
0. Extract from the Common Pleas Court Rolls relating to the ownership of the Manor of Mellor.

1. Indenture 1787 between John Ford of Ludworth, Victualler and Henry Howard re Parcel of Land bounded east by William Higginbottom's field, west by road from Marple Bridge to Hayfield, north by Joseph Hibbert's tenements.

2. Indenture 1790 between Thomas Dewhurst for John Ford the Younger (eldest son and administrator of the late John Ford the Elder) Cotton Spinner, and Samuel Oldknow, mentioning the same land from the 1787 indenture.

3. Indenture dated 1807 for the transfer of land by Samuel Oldknow to John Isherwood, James Bradshaw Isherwood and Nathaniel Wright for extending the graveyard of Marple church which was too small for purpose.

4. Indenture dated 1820 for Rev Mathew Ollernshawe, Samuel Oldknow and other named gentlemen being Trustees of the late Thomas Walklate's legacy for the maintenance of a free school in Mellor, for the transfer of rights and responsibilities to seven new trustees.

5. Assignment dated 1823 for John Sidebottom and T. Taylor, Innkeeper, Treasurers of the Friendly Society of Men for the Relief of the Sick at the Norfolk Arms; 99 year lease on a plot of land and dwelling at Chisworth.

6. Transcript and original parchment indenture for Transfer of land dated 1828 to Aaron Eccles of Hawk Green by the Macclesfield Canal Company, the land no longer needed by the Company.

7. Conveyance of land and Rhode House Mill and cottages from Robert Shepley to James Shepley dated 1853.

8. Letters of Administration dated 1872 of the Estate of John Bennett, late of the Hare and Hounds Inn, Low Marple.

9. Agreement for the supply of gas dated 1892 by the Marple Local Board and the Lighting Inspectors for the township of Ludworth.

10. Duplicate conveyance of land dated 1905: Robert Shepley esq to the Goyt Spinning Company Ltd.; four acres of land in Marple, bounded north-easterly by Hibbert lane, north-westerly by the Macclesfield Canal, south-westerley by the road to Shepley Mill.

11. Map of Podnor estate (no date) with the outer boundaries and tenants named as John Hudson, James Arnfield, R Higginbottom and Thomas Rowbottom.
