Photocopies of typed notes of newspaper articles and extracts with dates from several newspapers relating to Damsteads Farm, the Mill and their occupants. This includes dissolution of partnership, lettings, sales, bankruptcy and creditors. Dated from 1820 - 1862
Photocopy of a page from The Glossop Recorder giving information of the sale at Damsteads Mill on 27th September 1862 of "the whole of the salvage and remaining stock" and the contents of five rooms in Damsteads Lower Mill, including a 24 foot water wheel, billies, spindles and reels, a set of silver mounted harness and a cart horse "very powerful and suitable nearly for any purpose".
