Description
An account of the resource
Newspaper report from Stockport Advertiser dated 29th April 1965 heading "Lived 50 years in same street" with photograph of Mr & Mrs Arthur Thelwall with local dignitaries reading message from Queen on their Golden Wedding anniversary and reporting they lived in Derby Street for 50 years. Arthur had worked at Hollins Mill for fifty years, while his wife had worked there too but also been a milliner for thirteen years.
