Leaflet entitled "Mellor Parish Centre, Development Project, A facility for the whole community" September 2001, describing the building's previous use as Mellor Primary School which had now moved to Knowle Road, the condition of the old Parish Hall building on Longhurst Lane and the opportunity to develop the old school and expand facilities as a Parish Centre. Covering letter from David Ackroyd, Chair of the fundraising committee asking for donations towards the £90,000 needed for the project and suggesting ways in which the money might be raised.
