Photocopy of newspaper cutting from Advertiser 29.6.1961 giving information of a photographic exhibition at the Gem Cafe in Church Lane owned by Mr John Fearnley. Photographs, taken by amateur photographers over the years, were mainly of football teams, choir outings, local pageants, Sunday School classes etc, and provoked much interest from passers-by.
