Typed three page document entitled Aaron Eccles, Gentleman of this Parish 1787-1856 giving information on life, residences and career of this local Solicitor and owner of Beamsmoor.
Assocation with All Saints began in 1812 when he otained a pew. An active member of the congregation, he acted as Solicitor for the Church, was very interested in church music and was a member of the Select Vestry (responsible for running the parish). Helped establish first National School for All Saints in 1831.
Acted professionally for Samuel Oldknow and was a member of Stockport - Marple Turnpike Trust. Owned land around Hawk Green.
