1907 : Opening of the Hawk Green Social Club
1927 : The ownership of Hawk Green. Following studies in London of ”The Award of Tithe Apportionments in the Township of Marple”, Marple Council decided to assert the rights of ownership of Hawk Green and was to put up notices prohibiting the throwing of stones in Hawk Green.
1938 : Hawk Green Social Club saved – membership almost doubled
