Photocopies of two receipted invoices from Reginald Wood, Printer, Advertising and Insurance Agent at Mizpah Cottage, Mellor to Disley Rural District Council dated 13th November 1899 and 9th February 1900 for Advertising Services.
1. Photocopy of receipted Invoice dated Nov 13th 1899 for six adverts placed over period Sep - Nov 1899, three in North Cheshire Herald and three in Ashton Reporter at total cost of £3. 7 .0 d. Positions advertised included lamplighters and laundry worker.
2. Photocopy or receipted Invoice dated Feb 19th 1900 for five adverts placed over period Dec 1899 - Feb 1900, three in North Cheshire herald and two in Ashton Reporter at total cost of £4. 5. 2 d.
Adverts included lamplighter vacancy, notification of audit and of abstract of accounts.
