4. Original letter dated 12th November 1816 addressed to Mr A Eccles, Marple, Near Stockport from Mr Campbell with regard to a request regarding the will of the late John Ratcliffe with clarification.

6. My Ratcliffes of Marple : Steve Till : 2019 : 14 page extract from "A Little Bit of Family History" by Steve Till. This chapter deals the four generations of the Ratcliffe family from his maternal ancestors who were born and lived in Marple. Donated by Steve Till with thanks to MLHS and especially Ruth Hargreaves, Bill Beard and Hilary Atkinson who researched the Marple Connection of his family. The full text (over 100 pages) is housed in History folder as Steve's family were not local but based in and around the canals of Staffodshire, Middlewich, Shardlow along the Trent & Derwent. Also covers Australia/ RAF/Brewing & canal industries.
7. Letter to Tom Oldham (Nov 1980) seeking further information on Joel Ratcliffe who died in 1819. Mentioned on gravestone in Mellor Church.
