Nov 1954 Mr Isherwood clarified his offer
Dec 1957 Offer from Messrs Brady & Son to partially demolish Marple Hall outbuildings and create a 2.5 acre area as a garden of rest. This offer was accepted by the Council.
Mar 1963 It was reported that Marple Hall had been demolished, the foundations laid out as a garden of rest and a grammar school was being built near the site.
