Handwritten draft and typed copy of information on the Regent Cinema from 1968 - 69 when closed: refusal by Council for application for change of use to bingo hall; the withdrawal of the proposed compulsory purchase order by the Council; other related events.
Typed copy of handwritten notes from memories of local resident who had been an usherette in the 1930s, including information on employees, details of uniforms worn by usherettes and commissionaire, and the fact that the manager would play the accordion onstage during the frequent beakdowns of the projector.
One programme for Saturday matinee dated October 1971. Includes adverts for Marple shops and listings of current/future shows: Disney's Pinnochio, Up Pompeii and Percy .
One programme, with local adverts and film listings for July in unknown year : Assignment K, Mystery of Thug Island, The Ambushers, The Gnome-Mobile, Danger Route, In the Heat of the Night, For a Few Dollars More, Quatermass and the Pit.
