1. Advance notice of members' outing on 18th June 1910 to the 'Meeting of the Waters of the Goyt and Etherow' to be led by Joel Wainwright who would then entertain members to tea at Finchwood Garden, his property. Illustration of Finchwood Garden included with accompanying poem praising its beauty. Members urged to send in their names if joining. Details of train travel to and from London Road station provided.
2. Pages 33-35 under heading Marple June 18th : Leader Mr W Taylor. Details of walk through Brabyn's Park to confluence of Goyt and Etherow and of garden party at "Finchwood" the residence of Mr Joel Wainwright, JP Marple Bridge. Discussion took place on history and origins of Etherow name. Report also given of plants noticed during ramble.
