Furness Vale Local History
The Local History Society of Furness Vale, Derbyshire, research and record Furness Vale's past. An archive of documents, maps and photographs is maintained, a product of many years research. We hold meetings on the first Tuesday of each month except July and August. A guest speaker usually presents an illustrated talk of local or regional interest.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month (not July or August) and commence at 7.30pm. They are held in the function room at the Furness Vale Social Club, which is on Yeardsley Lane and just behind The Imperial Palace Restaurant.
